Parts that screw directly into the pig body
Our DPC and DPR bodies have specially designed threads which screw directly into the body of the pig. Designed for harder durometer cast or molded pigs — they will not pull out easily.
A small pilot hole must first be drilled into the pig body at the desired insert location.
The sharp threads screw directly into the pig body — no special tooling, no molded-in inserts required.
The carbide tips aggressively remove buildup, scale, and coking as the pig travels through the pipeline.
DPC — Durable scale and buildup removal
The DPC series is very durable and will remove buildup and scale from many surfaces. Available in 3 stock lengths — 1/2", 3/4", and 1" thread lengths. A 1-1/2" long part is available by special order.

DPR — For the most difficult scale and coking
The sharp-tipped DPR series is recommended to break the most difficult scale and coking. Available in 3 stock lengths — 1/2", 3/4", and 1" thread lengths. A 1-1/2" long part is available by special order.
